Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: Monday-Friday | Start Time: 7:00am to 4pm<br><br><strong>Job Description<br><br></strong>We are seeking highly motivated and qualified applicants to fill the position of a Rental Agent. Position will be 5% outdoors and 95% indoors.<br><br>We are looking for confident individuals with a customer service orientation, strong interpersonal and telephone skills, provide front line contact with customers, match vehicle demand with availability, desire for growth, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.<br><br><strong>Rental Agent Job Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Customer interaction (in-person, email, phone, etc.)</li><li>Going out on sales calls and meeting potential clients</li><li>Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order, report any issues found</li><li>Fleet Management and Inventory</li><li>Billing</li><li>Open/Close Rental Agreements</li><li>Daily rental check in/out</li><li>Generate reports</li><li>Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles</li><li>Fuel island inspections</li><li>Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor</li><li>Work with Sales team within the company.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Job Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Minimum 2 years' experience in transportation rental and leasing required</li><li>Strong data entry skills</li><li>Strong customer service skills</li><li>Microsoft Excel experience required</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Requires ability to get in & out of commercial trucks.</li><li>Ability to work independently, organizational skills, and a positive attitude are required.</li><li>Ability to multitask in a very fast-paced environment<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits & Perks<br><br></strong><ul><li>Weekly Pay | Direct Deposit Available</li><li>Accrued Time Off</li><li>Employee Discount Programs</li><li>Bonus Pay Eligibility</li><li>Stable & Growing, Family-Owned Company<br><br></li></ul><strong>Compensation<br><br></strong><ul><li>$22.00- $24.00 per hour depending on experience.</li><li>Incentive and Commission pay.<br><br></li></ul>Since 1978, TCI Transportation has been dedicated to serving our clients in the only way we know how – with integrity, passion, and ingenuity.
