Are you a strategic financial leader who knows how to scale a growing company — and wants a true seat at the table? Our client, a well-established company with strong market positioning and international reach is seeking an enthusiastic CFO who can partner directly with the President, provide strategic financial leadership, and help guide the organization through its next stage of expansion.

What You’ll Own

  • Lead and develop the accounting team (4–5 direct reports)
  • Oversee financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis
  • Strengthen banking, insurance, and key financial relationships
  • Evaluate and optimize systems, technology, and ERP alignment with growth goals
  • Provide executive partnership on business strategy and operational performance
  • Oversee internal IT (with HR eventually reporting into this role)
  • Help cultivate leadership across departments and build bench strength company-wide
  • Travel internationally a few times per year to strengthen collaboration

What They’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or advanced degree a plus)
  • Blend of public and private experience strongly preferred
  • 2–3+ years of CFO experience within a mid-sized organization
  • Proven leadership experience managing direct reports
  • Strong financial and strategic acumen — able to move fluidly between the details and the big picture
  • Technology-savvy; comfortable evaluating systems and aligning them with long-term strategy
  • Approachable, thoughtful communicator who builds trust across all levels
  • Naturally curious leader who wants to deeply understand the business and its people
