Adobe Real-Time CDP Architect (AEP / RTCDP)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Adobe Real-Time CDP Architect with 10+ years in customer data, MarTech, and digital architecture, including 6+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP (RTCDP) solutions at enterprise scale.

This role will lead the end-to-end architecture of unified customer data solutions, enabling real-time personalization, identity resolution, and multi-channel activation across digital and operational ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture & Strategy

  • Lead end-to-end Adobe RTCDP architecture design, translating business objectives into scalable data, identity, and activation frameworks.
  • Define enterprise customer data strategy aligned with marketing, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Conduct discovery and journey-mapping workshops to define onboarding, lifecycle, engagement, and personalization use cases.

2. Data Modeling & Identity

  • Design and implement XDM schemas, datasets, and data models aligned with enterprise data standards.
  • Define and manage identity namespace strategy, identity stitching rules, and profile unification logic.
  • Architect unified customer profiles integrating CRM, behavioral, transactional, and offline data sources.
  • Improve cross-channel visibility and personalization accuracy through robust identity resolution frameworks.

3. Data Ingestion & Integration

  • Architect and oversee data ingestion pipelines (batch, streaming, API-based) using AEP connectors, Data Streams, and Edge Network.
  • Ensure reliable, scalable, and real-time data availability across systems.
  • Integrate AEP with external enterprise platforms (CRM, analytics, data warehouses, marketing automation tools).

4. Segmentation & Activation

  • Develop audience models and segmentation frameworks within RTCDP.
  • Enable activation across Adobe Target, Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO), and external destinations.
  • Design and implement journey orchestration logic using behavioral triggers, conditional rules, and profile attributes.
  • Support lifecycle marketing, re-engagement, and personalization strategies.

5. Governance, Compliance & Quality

  • Establish data governance, consent management, and privacy frameworks aligned with regulatory and enterprise standards.
  • Define QA processes, data validation standards, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Develop measurement and performance reporting frameworks for customer data activation.

6. Leadership & Collaboration

  • Serve as a strategic bridge between marketing, analytics, data engineering, and IT teams.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs and implementation roadmaps.
  • Provide architectural guidance, best practices, and mentorship to implementation teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in customer data platforms, MarTech, or digital architecture.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP.
  • Deep expertise in XDM schema design, identity resolution, and unified profile architecture.
  • Strong experience with audience segmentation and multi-channel activation strategies.
  • Experience integrating AEP with CRM, analytics, and enterprise data systems.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, privacy, and consent management frameworks.
