Software Developer - Tools & Automation

Other Jobs To Apply

This is a great career opportunity to join a well-established market research company, as their first ever in-house software developer, with a specific focus on data science, automation and AI-tools. This company is a leader in industry-specific market research, and they promote their services to professionals across Canada and the US.

So if you’re a software developer who has an interest in data, automation and AI tools, then this could be a great role for you. A background in data science or statistics would be considered an asset for this role.

The position itself will offer a lot of variety from day-to-day. You will be leading a wide variety of software development activities, including data analysis, business process automation, AI tool selection, and miscellaneous software development projects.
This company offers a ‘remote first’ working environment, so you will work primarily from your home office. The team members are primarily in the Vancouver area, and there are periodical get-togethers with other staff in Vancouver throughout the year. Applicants for this role should be living in the Vancouver area, or nearby.

This role is best suited if you are a versatile software developer, who enjoys doing a wide variety of tasks. Since this is the first time for the company to have a dedicated, in-house software developer, there is still lots of ‘blank canvas’ and a chance to setup processes and tools from scratch. At the same time, you will be well-supported and you’ll be joining a mature company. Your job will be to combine all these ingredients and take their software, tools and automation to the next level.

This is a full-time position, and includes a competitive base salary, paid vacation and extended health and dental benefits.
