Carbon Removal Sales Manager

Other Jobs To Apply

Location: United States or Europe (Remote)

Department: Sales

Reports to: CEO

Who we are: Sky Harvest exists to create sensible, cost-effective solutions to all

who care about mitigating climate impact with precision and integrity.

Sky Harvest creates carbon removal credits and sells them to corporate customers to offset their emissions. We do so by working exclusively with small-acreage and underserved timberland operators in the United States to generate carbon credits. We are a project developer—not a broker, nor a marketplace.

We’re passionate about improving carbon markets through sensible, practical solutions to this climate issue. And we have a humble, hard-working culture intrinsically motivated by the excellence and impact of our work.

More importantly, Sky Harvest has a distinct and competitive value proposition: we voluntarily issue removal credits that creatively solve customers’ durability needs through an innovative durability deduction. Our credits also include dynamic baselines, negative NPV tests, rigorous data-driven MRV, and conservative carbon accounting. For more information on our value proposition, please see: True Credits | Sky Harvest.

Why this role: If you have a proven track-record of closing high-integrity carbon deals and are now seeking more autonomy and growth—this role is for you.

As Commercial Sales Manager, you will partner directly with the CEO to expand our client base, convert leads into customers, and tell the Sky Harvest story to some of the world’s most ambitious sustainability leaders.

Sky Harvest is a fast-moving, founder-led startup. You’ll enjoy autonomy, quick decisions, visible impact, and the ability to shape the commercial playbook of a company at the forefront of defining what “carbon integrity” really means.

Your Mission: The Commercial Sales Manager will own the sales process—from lead generation to contract execution. You will source new corporate buyers, build relationships, structure deals, and guide them through to close.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Develop, qualify, and convert high-value corporate buyers for Sky Harvest’s carbon removal credits
  2. Support contract negotiation and closing, alongside CEO
  3. Foster, maintain, and grow long-term relationships with customers and intermediaries
  4. Execute and track outbound campaigns using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other tools
  5. Represent Sky Harvest at key industry events and conferences to generate new leads
  6. Support marketing and communications efforts to strengthen Sky Harvest’s brand presence
  7. Pitch-in on other efforts, as required

What it takes: A successful Commercial Sales Manager builds trust quickly,

communicates with clarity and confidence, and thrives in a high-autonomy environment.

The Commercial Sales Manager will possess:

  1. Culture buy-in: At Sky Harvest, we ruthlessly pursue our mission, build eternal partnerships, and bring rigor to our thinking and work.
  2. Entrepreneurial spirit: driven, agile, creative, and resilient in a dynamic market
  3. Commercial traction: Focused on results and skilled at converting conversations into commitments
  4. Influence: ability to build credibility quickly and serve as a trusted guide through complex purchasing decisions
  5. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to simplify complexity
  6. Organization: Capable of managing multiple deals and relationships in parallel without losing focus.
  7. Technical fluency: Proficient in LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Microsoft 365, and CRM systems such as HubSpot
  8. Experience: 3-7 years of direct B2B sales experience in the voluntary carbon market, preferably selling IFM credits

Benefits: Highly competitive commission structure, base salary commensurate with experience, and the potential for equity incentive as an early employee. Benefits include healthcare insurance and a wellness stipend (for house cleaning, gym membership, grocery delivery or massages).

Rapid advancement opportunities for high performers. As Sky Harvest scales, you’ll help shape a world-class sales function and grow alongside the company.

Contact: If this sounds like you, reach out to Mel Tipps at mel@skyharvest.com—we’d love to connect.
