Together, we co-create moments that matter - both for our audiences and our employees - and aim to leave a positive mark on culture.<br /> <br /> Overview:<br /> <br /> The Vice President, Industrial Relations is responsible for supporting the development and execution of industrial relations strategies and ensuring the effective administration of collective bargaining agreements. This role provides guidance to production and studio leadership on labor relations matters, manages grievance processes, and works closely with union representatives to maintain productive working relationships.<br /> <br /> The VP serves as a key operational leader within the Industrial Relations team, partnering with senior leadership to support negotiations, ensure contractual compliance, and facilitate cost-effective production operations.<br /> <br /> Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<br /> <br /> • Administer and interpret collective bargaining agreements to support the efficient and cost-effective production of Paramount's physical productions and studio operations.<br /> <br /> • Manage the labor grievance process, including reviewing investigations, assessing contractual positions, and negotiating resolutions with union representatives where appropriate.<br /> <br /> • Support arbitration preparation and proceedings in matters that are not resolved through the grievance process.<br /> <br /> • Assist senior leadership in collective bargaining negotiations by providing analysis, strategy support, and operational expertise.<br /> <br /> • Identify issues within existing labor agreements and recommend solutions or improvements to leadership.<br /> <br /> • Work with unions and industry partners to obtain contract interpretations, waivers, or other agreements that support production needs.<br /> <br /> • Provide guidance to production management on disciplinary actions and personnel matters involving union employees.<br /> <br /> • Oversee or conduct investigations related to workplace issues involving represented employees.<br /> <br /> • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for supervisors and production teams regarding contractual compliance and labor relations practices.<br /> <br /> • Partner with legal counsel and internal stakeholders regarding labor-related litigation and administrative matters.<br /> <br /> • Assist with responses to administrative charges from agencies such as the EEOC, DFEH, Labor Commissioner, and NLRB.<br /> <br /> • Supervise and mentor members of the Industrial Relations team.<br /> <br /> Basic Qualifications:<br /> <br /> • 12+ years of experience in labor relations, preferably within the entertainment industry, motion picture production, or studio operations.<br /> <br /> • Bachelor's degree in industrial relations, Business Management, or a related field.<br /> <br /> Additional Qualifications:<br /> <br /> • Strong working knowledge of labor law and entertainment industry collective bargaining agreements.<br /> <br /> • Experience managing grievance procedures and workplace investigations.<br /> <br /> • Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with union representatives and internal stakeholders.<br /> <br /> • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.<br /> <br /> • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.<br /> <br /> Paramount Skydance Corporation (NASDAQ: PSKY) is a leading global media and entertainment company that creates premium content and experiences for audiences worldwide. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
