The ideal candidate will be experienced in cardiac catheterization procedures and possess the necessary certifications. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a variety of cases, providing essential care to our patients.</p><br><br>Shift Details<br><ul><br> <li>Unit Type: Cardiac Cath Lab</li><br> <li>Shift Length: 10 or 12 hours</li><br> <li>Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week</li><br> <li>Days: Flexible, with willingness to participate in block scheduling on weekends</li><br></ul><br><br>Responsibilities<br><ul><br> <li>Assist in performing cardiac catheterizations, including coronary, peripheral, vascular, and neuro interventions.</li><br> <li>Collaborate with a team of medical professionals, including RNs who administer conscious sedation during procedures.</li><br> <li>Monitor hemodynamics and manage procedural equipment.</li><br> <li>Participate in on-call schedules for inpatient and emergent cases as required.</li><br> <li>Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including proper use of fluoroscopy during procedures.</li><br></ul><br><br>Qualifications<br><ul><br> <li>Minimum of 2 years of current experience in a catheterization lab setting.</li><br> <li>Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, and Fluoroscopy certification.</li><br> <li>Candidates with RCIS or CCT certifications will not be considered.</li><br> <li>Must be comfortable with conscious and moderate sedation protocols, airway management, and cardiac drips (such as Integrilin, dopamine, and vasopressors).</li><br></ul><br><br>Unit Environment<br><ul><br> <li>Facility has 5 suites: 2 for coronary cases, 1 for peripheral cases, 1 for vascular and neuro cases, and 1 for electrophysiology cases.</li><br> <li>Average of 10-22 cases performed daily.</li><br> <li>Team typically consists of 2 techs per case, with the potential for an additional staff member depending on case requirements.</li><br></ul><br><br>Location<br><p>Position available in the city of [City Name], [State Abbreviation].</p><br><br><p><strong>Note:</strong> First-time travelers are welcome.
