<div>Technical Baseline Systems Engineer<br/><b>The Opportunity:</b><br/><br/>Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your technical skills with big-picture thinking to make an impact on the DoW? You understand your customer's environment and how to develop the right systems for their mission. Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.<br/><br/>As a technical baseline systems engineer on our team, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and DoW clients to analyze, architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy the next generation of resilient Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR) systems. You'll develop, integrate, and manage Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Models-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products. You'll provide technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design, and test issues to inform major program decisions. You'll perform systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification. You'll analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.<br/><br/><b>You Have:</b><br/><ul><li>4+ years of experience working on large-scale systems engineering, integration, and development programs</li><li>2+ years of experience performing and leading a team in the development and management of technical specifications, ICDs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), architectural designs, and integration and test plans</li><li>Experience leading requirements and interface management efforts for a major program</li><li>Experience coordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards, including configuration control or engineering review</li><li>Experience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word</li><li>Knowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2</li><li>Secret clearance </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Nice If You Have:</b><br/><ul><li>Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF-M, or EWS</li><li>Experience with satellite Command and Control (C2) architecture and development</li><li>Experience using MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselines</li><li>Experience creating and managing Jira tickets or Confluence pages</li><li>Experience with SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS NextGen</li><li>Knowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02</li><li>Knowledge of Agile methodologies</li><li>TS/SCI clearance </li><li>Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS</li><li>INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification</li></ul><br/><br/><b>Clearance:</b><br/><br/>Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. <br/><br/><b>Compensation</b><br/><br/>At Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
