Remote | W-2 Position | 20 Hours/Week

We're looking for an organized, proactive, and people-focused professional who is excited to grow into a Team Lead while also supporting clients as a Virtual Assistant.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coaching others, building relationships, and creating systems that help people succeed.

As a Team Lead, you'll mentor and support a small team of Virtual Assistants while continuing to serve clients directly. Like all Virtual Assistants at myVA Rocks, hours are built over time as new client engagements are added. Team Leads work toward a schedule of 20 hours per week while balancing both client and leadership responsibilities.

This is a W-2 position with opportunities for continued growth as our company expands.

What You'll Do

  • Coach and support approximately 10 Virtual Assistants
  • Conduct weekly or bi-weekly 1:1 meetings
  • Provide timely coaching, constructive feedback, and accountability
  • Help VAs navigate challenges and celebrate successes
  • Monitor team performance and identify coaching opportunities
  • Maintain accurate documentation and updates within Monday.com
  • Partner with the Director of People & Operations and fellow Team Leads to improve processes
  • Support onboarding and help new VAs transition successfully into the team

The ideal candidate is

  • An experienced Executive or Administrative Assistant
  • Comfortable leading, coaching, and mentoring others
  • Able to provide direct, constructive feedback with confidence and empathy
  • Proactive, highly organized, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable making decisions and solving problems independently
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent at written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable spending 2–3 hours per day in virtual meetings

  • Comfortable being on camera
  • Available during our primary collaboration hours:
  • 8:00 am - 11:00 am PST
  • 10:00 am - 1:00 pm CST
  • 11:00 am - 2:00pm EST

Preferred Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Executive or Administrative Assistant experience
  • Previous leadership, coaching, mentoring, or management experience
  • Experience supporting multiple clients or executives
  • Experience using Google Workspace, Slack, Monday.com, and project management tools
