Specialty Care Patient Engagement helps patients and caregivers understand their disease, have informed conversations with their healthcare providers about treatment options, and stay appropriately on therapy. This means engaging patients as appropriate throughout their treatment journey — from diagnosis and treatment initiation through ongoing management — with support tailored to what they need at each stage. Patient Engagement supports patients across Sickle Cell Disease, Alopecia Areata, ATTR-CM, Immunoglobulin (Ig) therapies, and Hemophilia, conditions that carry distinct clinical, emotional, and access challenges. This role sits at the intersection of patient needs and commercial strategy, with the opportunity to raise the bar for how patients are supported across specialty care Why This Role Matters Go-To-Market (GTM) Excellence is the connective tissue ensuring Patient Engagement strategy is aligned with brand strategy and translates into effective execution — and that execution data flows back to refine strategy over time. In partnership with Marketing and other functions, this role ensures the team has the right processes, tools, playbooks, and governance to execute with excellence, and continuously evolves those capabilities to keep pace with patient needs. This person will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Patient Solutions leadership, Patient Solutions Enablement, Legal, Compliance, and other functions to operationalize strategy into scalable, compliant, and measurable Patient Engagement execution — including the go-to-market and launch plans that stand-up new patient engagement models and programs, and accelerate or evolve existing ones to better meet patient needs. This role will report to the Specialty Care Patient Solutions and Engagement Strategy and Enablement Lead. Key Responsibilities Strategy Translation & Go-To-Market Planning - Partner with Patient Engagement leadership and brand/marketing leads to translate strategy into actionable go-to-market plans, including segmentation, targeting, channel mix, field execution, and program sequencing - Build go-to-market plans that both launch new Patient Engagement programs and capabilities and evolve or accelerate existing ones, including timelines, milestones, and cross-functional readiness criteria - Tailor GTM frameworks to each phase of the program lifecycle (pre-launch, launch, growth, maturity), driving the cross-functional action items and deliverables required for field execution Content Operations, Marketing Partnership & Review Committee (RC) - Work with Marketing to develop, evolve, and maintain appropriate internal and customer- and patient-facing resources, including SOPs, call guides, guardrails, training materials, and patient education collateral - Represent Patient Engagement in the Review Committee (RC)/MLR process, partnering with Marketing to clearly present resources, their intended use, and the supporting rationale needed to accelerate review - Submit resources for Review Committee (RC) review as needed, ensuring materials are complete and positioned for efficient approval - Partner with Legal and Compliance to obtain necessary permissions and to develop, approve, and maintain SOPs, call guides, guardrails, and supporting documentation - Ensure approved resources are properly loaded, tagged, and available across content and resource platforms (e.g., the Amplify platform/Centris) and confirm materials are current, findable, and ready for field and patient-facing use Targeting & Segmentation - Own or co-own the development of customer/account and patient population targeting models in partnership with IIS, Enablement and Patient Engagement Leadership - Work with the Enablement team and Marketing to build and maintain segmentation and tiering criteria (e.g., Tier 1/2/3 HCPs, patient support needs) to prioritize field engagement - Ensure targeting stays aligned with approved indications and compliance guardrails Channel & Field Execution - Lead core operational work including territory mapping, workload analysis and alignment recommendations - Design territory alignment, call planning, and multichannel engagement models (field, digital, patient support, peer-to-peer) - Monitor field force effectiveness and ensure patient-facing teams are equipped with the right approved tools and materials - Accelerate and streamline ways of working between Patient Engagement field roles and other customer-facing teams (Sales, KADs, Medical, Access and Reimbursement etc.) to close coordination gaps and improve the end-to-end customer and patient experience - Support meeting planning, including Year Beginning, Mid-Year and POA meetings Analytics & Performance Management - Serve as a strategic thought partner with the Patient Solutions Enablement team, IIS, and other enablement roles on KPIs, metrics, reporting dashboards, field technology, and related tools, ensuring they are fit for purpose and consistently defined - Partner with IIS and enablement teams to shape dashboard and reporting requirements that track targeting effectiveness, channel performance, and program productivity - Deliver regular insights to Patient Engagement Leadership and marketing, recommending strategy or execution adjustments based on performance data - Partner with the Patient Solutions Enablement team to translate execution into a clear strategic narrative for leadership and brand marketing — connecting performance against strategy, tactics, and KPIs Cross-Functional Governance & Enablement - Partner with GCET to develop Patient Engagement team competencies and equip leaders to coach effectively against them - Serve as a key liaison across Marketing, Sales, Patient Solutions, Medical, Legal, Compliance, Digital, and other functions to ensure aligned, compliant, and efficient GTM execution - Create internal training resources and partner with Marketing and Training to ensure effective pull-through of tactical plans - Support training and enablement to ensure Patient Engagement field teams understand and adopt GTM tools and processes - Update and maintain Patient Engagement scope and guiding principles to reflect role evolution and ongoing alignment across Patient Engagement leadership, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance Qualifications Must-Have - 8 + years of combined pharmaceutical experience across consumer marketing, operations, and strategy, with a demonstrated track record of leadership and high performance - Experience leading others in a matrix organization, with the ability to manage direct and indirect reports with authority - This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
