Now Brewing - Coffeehouse Operations Specialist sr. #tobeapartner

From the beginning, Starbucks set out to be a different kind of company. One that not only

celebrated coffee and the rich tradition, but that also brought a feeling of connection. We are known for developing extraordinary leaders who share this passion and are guided by their service to others.

As a Licensed Coffeehouse Operations Specialist Sr., you'll play a critical role in helping licensees successfully open, operate, and grow Starbucks coffeehouses. Serving as a trusted advisor and operational consultant, you'll partner with licensees and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional new store opening experiences, strengthen operational performance, and ensure Starbucks standards come to life in every store. This role combines training expertise, business acumen, operational excellence, project leadership, and relationship management to drive meaningful business results and create lasting impact across the licensed coffeehouse portfolio.

As a Coffeehouse Operations Specialist, you will...

  • Lead new store opening readiness by planning, coordinating, and executing operational strategies that enable successful launches and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Serve as a trusted business partner to licensees, leveraging operational expertise, performance insights, and strategic consultation to drive sustainable business results.
  • Lead cross-functional projects and initiatives by aligning stakeholders, managing priorities, mitigating risks, and delivering outcomes that support organizational objectives.
  • Strengthen operational capability and continuous improvement through coaching, training, process optimization, and the development of scalable solutions that advance business performance.

We'd love to hear from people with:

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to leverage data, insights, and sound judgment to drive operational and business results.
  • Exceptional consulting, relationship-building, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and align stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
  • Strong project management, planning, and prioritization capabilities, with a proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 90%, including domestic and international travel, and work variable hours, including nights and weekends, as business needs require.
  • Three (3) years of retail, restaurant, hospitality, or quick-service restaurant operations management experience.
  • Two (2) years of operational training, facilitation, coaching, consulting, or learning and development experience.
  • Experience leading or supporting cross-functional operational initiatives, new store openings, or business projects and initiatives.
  • Experience using operational and business performance metrics to identify opportunities and improve results.
  • Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving alignment across competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Hospitality, Operations Management, Organizational Development, Project Management, or related field.
  • Experience working within licensed, franchise, or multi-unit retail business models.
  • Professional proficiency in French preferred to support communication, training, and coaching with French-speaking licensees and partners.
  • Current valid driver's license and ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport for international travel.

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?
