About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors create examples, test model behavior, and review outputs so AI systems can become more accurate, useful, and reliable.

In this role, your work will focus on business-process automation and text-based evaluation. You will challenge AI with realistic workflow scenarios and assess whether its proposed solutions correctly translate requirements into dependable automation logic.

The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking an intermediate No-Code Automation Specialist with significant hands-on experience using Zapier and/or Make.com. You will collaborate on AI training projects by creating, testing, and refining workflow automation tasks based on real-world business processes.

This is a remote, part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20+ hours per week. Compensation ranges from $15 to $45 USD per hour, with the listed rate of $45 per hour.

  • Employment type: Contractor and part-time
  • Time requirement: 20+ hours per week
  • Experience level: Intermediate
  • Compensation: $15 to $45 USD per hour
  • Work arrangement: Remote and worldwide, subject to restricted locations

What You'll Do

You will design and evaluate automation tasks that test how well AI systems understand workflow structure, business requirements, and data movement. The work includes reviewing AI-generated solutions, identifying weaknesses, and improving results for efficiency and reliability.

Clear documentation is essential. You will explain automation logic in a way that accurately reflects business needs and makes workflow behavior easy to assess.

  • Create, test, and refine workflow automation tasks using Zapier and Make.com.
  • Generate prompts about triggers, actions, multi-step workflows, filters, branching logic, and integrations.
  • Challenge AI systems with realistic business-process automation scenarios.
  • Review AI outputs for accuracy, efficiency, reliability, and legal reasoning quality.
  • Improve AI-generated automation solutions and correct data-flow issues.
  • Incorporate AI-powered steps, enrichments, and LLM integrations when appropriate.
  • Work with occasional no-code or low-code API integrations.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical automation logic.
  • Document workflows and evaluation decisions clearly.

Requirements

Applicants should have practical experience building end-to-end automations across business functions and evaluating text-based AI outputs. Legal reasoning evaluation, annotation, or rubric-based quality assurance experience is also required by the project requirements.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Zapier and/or Make.com.
  • Experience building end-to-end automations across business functions.
  • Experience evaluating LLM outputs for legal reasoning quality.
  • Hands-on text annotation, evaluation, or rubric-based QA experience.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into automation logic.
  • English writing proficiency at B2 level or higher.
  • Experience with AI steps, enrichments, or LLM integrations is a plus.
  • Submit a CV in English that states your English proficiency level.
  • Include an email address and phone number with your application.

Who Should Apply

This opportunity is suited to automation practitioners who can think critically about workflow design and explain technical logic clearly. It may be a strong fit if you have used Zapier or Make.com to connect tools, manage branching processes, move data between systems, or add AI-powered steps.

Your automation experience will support the development of AI systems that must follow business instructions accurately. Careful reviewers with experience in legal reasoning evaluation, annotation, or rubric-based QA are especially relevant to this work.

  • Automation specialists with substantial Zapier or Make.com experience
