What You'll Do

  • This Garland-based role is an excellent opportunity for professionals skilled in relevant skills.
  • Our UPS team in Garland, TX is growing.
  • Benefit from working in Garland, a key hub for the Package Logistics industry.

About UPS & Our Culture

Most warehouse employers demand experience before they will even interview you. UPS is different. We hire driven, motivated people and train them to be exceptional — no prior warehouse experience required, no resume full of logistics jobs needed. Our overnight sort shift is the single best entry point into a UPS career for first-time warehouse workers, career changers, and anyone who has never worked in a distribution center before. When you search for no experience warehouse jobs, you will not find a better starting line than a UPS overnight shift. We offer real Teamsters union wages, real medical benefits, and the kind of paid training that turns complete beginners into skilled operators within weeks.

What Our Team Says (Employee Reviews)

"I had zero warehouse experience when I applied. I had been working retail and wanted something with better pay and real benefits. UPS hired me on the spot, trained me completely on my first shift, and within thirty days I was one of the faster sorters in my area. The overnight differential on top of the union wage is more money than I made at my retail job working twice the hours. If you are searching for no experience warehouse jobs near me, stop looking — this is the one." - Current Overnight Warehouse Associate, Las Vegas, NV.

Role Overview & Responsibilities

As a UPS Overnight Warehouse Associate with no prior experience needed, you will be fully trained on your first shift and supported by experienced team leads throughout your entire qualification period inside our package center. Overnight shifts typically run 10:30 PM to 3:30 AM, leaving your entire day free.

  • Paid On-The-Job Training: From your very first shift, a UPS-certified on-job trainer walks beside you, demonstrating every method step by step — no prior experience required, no knowledge assumed, no worker left to figure it out alone.
  • Package Sorting & Loading: Learn to read destination routing labels and sort packages onto the correct outbound belts and package cars, building speed and accuracy with each shift until you hit full production rate within your qualification window.
  • Safety Method Mastery: UPS's injury-prevention training is among the most comprehensive in the industry — your trainer teaches proper lifting, lowering, and equipment interaction techniques before you handle a single package unsupervised.

Benefits & Perks

No experience is required to access UPS's full benefit package — medical, dental, and vision coverage through the Teamsters union, a defined-benefit pension plan, and the UPS Earn & Learn tuition assistance program worth up to $25,000. The overnight shift differential adds significant income on top of the base union wage. Your days remain completely free. Weekly paychecks start from your very first week on the job.
