Full Job Description

Remote Customer Service Representative – Call Center
$35/hour + Bonus Opportunities | Full-Time | Remote

Comer & Cross Concrete Floor Coatings is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, highly organized Customer Service Representative to join our remote call center team.

Our Customer Service Representatives are an important part of both our customer experience and sales operations. This isn’t a role where you’re simply answering phones—you’ll help manage customer appointments, keep our sales calendars running smoothly, communicate with customers throughout the scheduling process, and work closely with our sales and operations teams.

We’re currently expanding our Western U.S. coverage and are specifically looking for candidates located in Arizona or Nevada.

If you’re someone who communicates well, stays organized when things get busy, enjoys talking to people, and likes solving problems, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle inbound and outbound customer calls, texts, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
  • Schedule and confirm customer appointments based on availability, sales routes, and scheduling needs
  • Review upcoming calendars for conflicts, gaps, changes, and scheduling opportunities
  • Make outbound calls to follow up with customer inquiries and sales leads
  • Monitor and respond to inbound customer text messages
  • Process reschedules, cancellations, and appointment changes quickly and accurately
  • Provide customers with accurate information about appointments, products, and services
  • Coordinate service requests and route information to the appropriate team
  • Communicate with Sales, Operations, and other departments to resolve scheduling or customer issues
  • Maintain detailed and accurate notes for customer interactions
  • Help resolve customer questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and a solutions-focused approach
  • Stay responsive and engaged throughout the workday while managing multiple priorities

What We’re Looking For

You don’t necessarily need years of call center experience. Strong communication skills, reliability, organization, and the right attitude matter just as much to us.

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Have a friendly, confident, and professional phone presence
  • Are comfortable spending a significant portion of your workday on the phone
  • Are comfortable making frequent outbound calls
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Are highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Can multitask and manage changing schedules and priorities
  • Are comfortable learning and working across multiple computer systems
  • Can work independently and stay productive in a remote environment
  • Communicate proactively when something changes or a problem arises
  • Take ownership and look for solutions rather than waiting to be told what to do
  • Work well as part of a team and are receptive to coaching and feedback

Previous experience in customer service, call centers, appointment scheduling, dispatch, customer support, inside sales, home services, or another high-volume phone environment is preferred, but not required.

What Success Looks Like

Great customer service here is about more than answering the phone.

Success means keeping calendars accurate, customers informed, appointments confirmed, schedule changes handled quickly, and communication properly documented—all while creating a positive experience for our customers.

Schedule & Availability

This is a full-time, remote hourly position.

Our call center operates 7 days a week, so candidates must have weekend availability and flexibility based on business and customer needs.

We are specifically expanding our team in Arizona and Nevada to support our growing Western U.S. markets and provide customer coverage across multiple time zones.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $35 per hour
  • Additional bonus opportunities
  • Full-time position
  • Health insurance
  • Fully remote position
  • Training and ongoing support

Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: Remote

Come grow with us!

Comer & Cross is a rapidly growing company, and we’re looking for people who want to grow with us. If you’re organized, dependable, great with people, and ready to be part of a fast-moving team, apply today—we’d love to hear from you.

Pay: $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week

Benefits:

  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • On-the-job training
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance

Application Question(s):

  • Are you comfortable working in a phone-heavy customer service role that includes frequent inbound and outbound calls, appointment scheduling, and customer follow-up?
  • Our call center operates 7 days a week. Are you available to work a full-time schedule that may include weekends and varying shifts based on business needs?
