Farm To People is a fast-growing online grocery delivery service specializing in sustainably-sourced, seasonal produce and artisanal foods. Our customers can subscribe to a curated Farm Box or can choose to shop Ă  la carte. We deliver 7 days per week and are rapidly expanding in the NYC market. We have a vast and ever-changing array of fresh produce, meats, dairy, bakery, and pantry items.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are Farm To People: a farmer’s market delivery service that offers New Yorkers an expansive curation of products by local farmers and makers! Our mission is to reimagine the food system by supporting small farmers and producers, all while providing customers an unmatched grocery experience. Our warehouse functions as a logistical middleman between the farms we source from and New Yorkers looking for ethically-sourced groceries, delivered. We are currently hiring associates for our Bushwick warehouse!

Compensation:
Rates start at $17/hr, increasing to $18/hr after 3 months of employment and satisfactory performance (overnight shift associates start at $18/hr immediately). Full and part-time positions available.

Responsibilities
include (but are not limited to):
  • Receiving deliveries
  • Stocking shelves
  • Picking and Packing Products
  • Handle Produce (Weighing, Bunching, Bagging)
  • Packing orders into our boxes
  • Cleaning areas of the warehouse

Staff call times vary but candidates willing and able to work overnight shift (8PM to 4:30AM) & morning shift (4:30AM to 1PM) will get priority.

You also must:
  • Be able to work on your feet for 8-10hrs.
  • Be able to work in refrigeration with temperatures ranging between 36F-40F and occasionally work in our freezer for short periods of time.
  • Be able to work on Saturdays, Sunday, & Mondays.
