Be part of something extraordinary from day one.<br><br>What You'll Do<br><br><ul><li> Own the operation – Take full accountability for budgetary performance, people development, and operational excellence across your functional area (Inbound or Outbound).</li><li> Lead and develop leaders – Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Operations and Area Managers, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable while building the next generation of Amazon leaders.</li><li> Drive continuous improvement – Champion Lean initiatives, process innovations, and quality programs that push your team and the FC to exceed business goals.</li><li> Deliver a world-class customer experience – Ensure safety, quality, and performance standards are met or exceeded every single day.</li><li> Collaborate cross-functionally – Partner with HR, Finance, Facilities, Safety, IT, and peer leaders to secure resources, share best practices, and drive site-wide success.</li><li> Cultivate ideas – Source and nurture innovative ideas from your team, translating them into actionable improvement plans that raise the bar across the network.</li><li> Share best practices – Take proactive steps to ensure best practices are shared across all departments, shifts, and the broader network.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Additional Job Elements To This Hands-on Leadership Role<br><br></strong><ul><li> Lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each</li><li> Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head</li><li> Walking in the FC and around area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length</li><li> Continual standing and/or walking an average of 5 miles daily</li><li> Ability to work in construction /distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, not air-conditioned</li><li> Able to access all areas of building (ascending and descending ladders, stairs, gangways safely and without limitation)<br><br></li></ul>Fun Facts about this location<br><br><ul><li> 24 Miles north of Boston</li><li> Top-rated public schools – highly rated for academic programs and extracurricular offerings</li><li> Tons of outdoor activities – access to large forests, protected lakes and linked to town trails</li><li> Walkable community areas – making it one of the most desirable towns in the Merrimack Valley<br><br></li></ul><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience</li><li> Work flexible hours as business demands, including overnight, weekends and holidays</li><li> 7+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment</li><li> Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques</li><li> Prior experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination<br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li> Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations</li><li> Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple FCs across the nation</li><li> Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons</li><li> Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations or related field. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
