Key Responsibilities

As a Route Sales Representative at Frito-Lay, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and ensuring that our products are properly stocked and displayed. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Product Delivery: Deliver Frito-Lay products to assigned locations on a scheduled route, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Merchandising: Organize and stock product displays, ensuring shelves and racks are visually appealing and meet company standards.
  • Sales Growth: Build relationships with store managers and decision-makers to increase sales opportunities and expand product placement.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, rotate stock to ensure freshness, and report any discrepancies.
  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues.
  • Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications

  • Driver's License: A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 50 lbs.
    • Comfort with repetitive movements, including bending, lifting, and reaching.
    • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sales Experience: Previous sales experience, preferably in the food industry, is an asset.
  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  • Merchandising Experience: Experience with merchandising and product display is an advantage.
