Remote Customer Support Executive Job Work From Home

Somebody messages in frustration; maybe it's late in the day, maybe they're right up against a deadline, and something isn't working. How that conversation goes, whether they hang up annoyed or actually relieved, comes down to whoever's on the other end of that chat. That's the job. We're hiring a Remote Customer Support Executive to be that person across live chat, email, and the occasional phone call. It's a fully work-from-home role paying $75,000 a year, built for someone who actually likes solving other people's problems rather than just tolerating them. What the Role Actually Involves Most of the work is straightforward on paper: answer questions, fix issues, keep customers informed. In practice, it takes more than that. You'll need to figure out what someone's really asking, not just what they typed, and then get them an answer that actually solves it instead of a script response that sounds close enough. Naukri Mitra treats that distinction as the whole point of the role, since a fast wrong answer costs more than a slightly slower right one. Over time, the patterns you notice in customer conversations feed back into the product and process. You're often the first person to hear about a bug, a confusing feature, or a recurring complaint, so what you flag matters beyond just that one ticket. What Your Day Looks Like Responding to inquiries through chat, email, and sometimes phone, depending on the day Troubleshooting minor technical issues before escalating anything unnecessarily Helping with account questions, billing confusion, general "how do I do this" requests Documenting each conversation clearly enough that a teammate could pick it up cold Looping in other departments when a problem needs more than a support-level fix Following up on tickets that aren't resolved in one go, so nothing quietly falls off Some tickets take thirty seconds. Others take real digging, a bit of patience, and occasionally a colleague's help. Both kinds show up regularly. What You Need Coming In Education: a High school diploma or equivalent, at minimum. Experience: at least 1 year in a customer service or support role, remote or otherwise. Strong written communication, especially for email and chat where tone matters more than people realize Ability to explain something technical in plain language without sounding condescending A read on when a customer's getting frustrated, and adjusting your response accordingly Enough attention to detail that your answers are accurate, not just fast Time management that lets you juggle a few open conversations without losing track of any of them Helpful, Though Not Required Previous experience with CRM tools or ticketing systems Comfort working across multiple support channels at once Some exposure to remote team collaboration tools A track record of staying calm during a genuinely tough customer interaction Pay and Perks The role pays $75,000 a year. A few other things that come with it: Fully remote schedule with real flexibility, as long as your set hours are covered Health coverage, including options for dependents Paid time off that's meant to actually get used Ongoing training as tools and processes evolve, not a one-time onboarding and then silence How the Work Actually Happens You'll be trusted to manage your own time, which sounds nice until you realize it also means the accountability sits entirely with you. Staying on top of documentation, giving proactive updates instead of waiting to be asked, and actually being present during your set hours- that's what keeps a remote team functioning without turning into a game of telephone. You'll lean on a CRM to track customer history, live chat and email tools for actual conversations, a knowledge base for quick answers, and internal chat for moments when a ticket needs more than one person's input. What This Looks Like in Practice A customer messages in late, panicked, can't access something they need before a deadline. Instead of a canned reply, you check their account and spot a small configuration issue causing the whole problem. Fixed in a few minutes, explained clearly, plus a quick tip to prevent it from happening again. They end the conversation less stressed than they started it. That's a fairly normal Tuesday in this role, not a highlight reel moment. Who Tends to Do Well Here People who actually enjoy untangling a customer's problem instead of just processing it. People who stay curious, notice details, and don't need constant direction to stay organized. If you see a tricky ticket as something interesting rather than something to get through, you'll probably like this job more than most. To Apply Send in your application if you can write clearly, read a customer's mood accurately, and keep several conversations moving at once without dropping any. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position.

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
