They lead teams through the project lifecycle, from development to operations, and are responsible for the project's success. Coordinates team across multiple departments and vendors for multiple concurrent projects.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Project planning: Create and maintain project charter, roadmaps, timelines, and objectives. Manage project scope, schedule, financials and relationships.</li><li>Team management: Coordinate tasks, schedule and evaluate team members and manage stakeholder expectations</li><li>Project execution: Ensure projects meet timelines and resource constraints, and comply with legal and ethical requirements</li><li>Communication: Manages overall project communications including executive stakeholders, colleagues, vendors, business stakeholders, and clients as needed.</li><li>Documentation: Create and manage all project related artifacts including but not limited to Project Plans, RAID logs, Change Management, Status and Meeting documentation.</li><li>Risk management: Identify and manage project-related risks. Ensure appropriate escalations and mitigations.</li><li>Process improvement: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies.</li><li>Vendor management: Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers.</li><li>Data project managers should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to work under pressure. They should also be able to multitask and guide and motivate others.</li><li>Work Pace: Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple concurrent assignments.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong> <br><br><ul><li>Degree in life sciences or computer sciences or a related field strongly desired.</li><li>Must have relevant Information Technology pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry experience.</li><li>Minimum 5-7 Years commercial pharma/ biotech IT project management specifically in IT systems, data management, data warehousing and master data management.</li><li>Strong base understanding of standard data warehouse designs elements such as data ingestion, modification, and extraction.</li><li>Ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple and coherent manner, both verbally and in writing.</li><li>Proven experience of working with complex integrated systems, using creative and strategic thinking to deliver exceptional results.</li><li>Strong ability to listen to discussions and capture actions and requirements in meaningful, precise manner that can be understood by both technical and non-technical participants.</li><li>Ability to present concepts and lead discussions on design issues with authority and poise both internally and to clients. This is a client-facing role.</li><li>Ability to collaborate and relate to team members from a large variety of backgrounds on a daily basis. Must have experience working with local and virtual teams.</li><li>Excellent Microsoft Office computer skills (Word, Excel, PPT, Visio). Proficient with MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA and common Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Excel, Power Point, Word, One Note, Visio, Outlook).</li><li>Experience working with SharePoint (or similar) project workspaces / document repositories.</li><li>Experience with the following items:</li><ul><li>Working in a regulated environment, must have life sciences experience.</li><li>Working with and managing third party suppliers/vendors</li></ul><li>Ability to operate with limited oversight and needs to command the respect of a broad range of business and technology stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Proficient at recognizing and defining risks and developing response and mitigation plans for them.</li><li>Experience managing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and / or Software as a Service (SaaS) projects, including integrations into and out of these systems, & data migrations.<br></li></ul><strong>Work Schedule<br><br></strong><ul><li>Typical schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.</li><li>Must be flexible to accommodate departmental needs and client/staff time zones.</li><li>At times, overtime maybe needed to accomplish deliverables which could include evenings or weekend hours.</li><li>For all remote meetings, there is an expectation of being on-camera for all meetings with appropriate business attire and standard Slipstream virtual background.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Work Location<br><br></strong><ul><li>Place of employment is expected to be 90% remote.</li><li>For all remote meetings, all employees are required to be on-camera with appropriate business casual attire and background.</li><li>On occasion, some travel to client locations or company meetings may be required.
