The role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate complex issues, understand dependencies across connected enterprise systems, and provide practical, evidence-based recommendations. <br><br>This role is available to be based anywhere in North America, provided the employee is based in a province or state where ALS operates.<br><br><strong>Specific Responsibilities: <br><br></strong>Technical Solution Delivery <br><br><ul><li>Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs. </li><li>Build and maintain Oracle Fusion Cloud technical solutions, including integrations, extensions, reports, and data migration processes. </li><li>Ensure all customizations follow Oracle Cloud best practices and remain upgrade safe. </li><li>Participate in full lifecycle implementations, enhancements, testing, releases, and support activities. </li><li>Apply structured analysis and problem-solving where requirements, causes, or solutions are not immediately clear. </li><li>Work within Agile and software development life-cycle practices, including sprints, epics, user stories, estimation, backlog management, testing, release activities, and Scrum calls. <br><br></li></ul>Integration Architecture & Support <br><br><ul><li>Own end-to-end integration flows between Fusion Cloud and external systems. </li><li>Develop and support integrations using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP, file-based interfaces, and secure data-exchange methods. </li><li>Understand connected cloud, identity, and enterprise-system dependencies in order to build and support the required Oracle-side functionality. </li><li>Support Oracle solutions that interact with services such as Azure Function Apps, Entra ID, and Active Directory; coordinate platform configuration with the appropriate technical owners. </li><li>Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve integration failures in OIC, ATP, Fusion, and connected environments. </li><li>Maintain integration documentation, mapping sheets, technical designs, and support guides. <br><br></li></ul>Reporting & Data Management <br><br><ul><li>Deliver operational, analytical, and statutory reports using Fusion reporting tools. </li><li>Manage data migration activities using FBDI, ADFdi, and BICC. </li><li>Ensure data accuracy, reconciliation, validation, audit compliance, and appropriate error handling. </li><li>Investigate data and process issues across source systems, integrations, and Fusion Cloud; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. <br><br></li></ul>Cloud Infrastructure & Security <br><br><ul><li>Work with OCI services such as Object Storage, Functions, API Gateway, and Logging. </li><li>Support security configurations including OAuth, certificates, confidential applications, roles, permissions, and secure credentials. </li><li>Understand authentication, authorization, an identity dependencies relevant to Oracle integrations and automation scenarios. </li><li>Ensure compliance with organizational and cloud security standards. <br><br></li></ul>Cross Functional Collaboration <br><br><ul><li>Partner with functional consultants, business users, project managers, and technical teams. </li><li>Provide technical guidance, impact analysis, effort estimates, options, and recommendations. </li><li>Use Excel, PowerPoint, and technical documentation tools to analyse information and present findings to technical and business audiences. </li><li>Participate in design workshops, testing cycles, Agile development, and production cutovers. </li><li>Communicate progress, risks, assumptions, dependencies, and blockers in a timely manner. <br><br></li></ul>Production Support & Continuous Improvement <br><br><ul><li>Manage assigned incidents, service requests, defects, and delivery tasks, maintaining clear status updates, analysis, resolution notes, and supporting documentation. </li><li>Provide L2/L3 support for technical issues across integrations, reports, extensions, and related Oracle services. </li><li>Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes. </li><li>Investigate ambiguous technical issues and provide clear findings, options, and evidence-based recommendations. </li><li>Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and process improvement. </li><li>Use approved company AI/LLM tools responsibly and effectively to support analysis, documentation, development, and productivity. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical development. </li><li>Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and cloud adapters. </li><li>Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and UNIX/Linux scripting. </li><li>Solid knowledge of Oracle ATP / Autonomous AI Database administration and optimization. </li><li>Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP or FTP integrations, and FBDI processes. </li><li>Strong background in reporting tools: BIP, OTBI, and BICC. </li><li>Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services. </li><li>Working knowledge of enterprise integrations, secure authentication, and identity/access concepts, including Entra ID and Active Directory dependencies. </li><li>Working knowledge of Agile and SDLC practices, including sprints, epics, user stories, estimation, backlog management, testing and release activities. </li><li>Ability to investigate complex or unclear issues, analyse technical evidence, and provide sound recommendations. </li><li>Ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, and technical documentation tools to analyse and communicate information clearly. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. <br><br></li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications</strong>:<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. </li><li>3+ years of overall IT experience with strong exposure to enterprise applications.</li><li>3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical development. </li><li>Experience supporting technical solutions across integrations, reporting, data migration, incident investigation, and enterprise application support. </li><li>Oracle certifications such as: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Certification, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) Certification, Oracle Fusion Cloud Technical Specialist Certifications, Oracle Autonomous Database Certification <br><br></li></ul><strong>Our benefits include:<br><br></strong><ul><li>For roles based in Canada, the estimated annual salary range is $100,000 - $125,000 CAD at the time of posting. Compensation ranges may differ for roles based in other locations.
