Unique designer items matched to customers personally at accessible price points—and a second life for high-quality fashion that might otherwise go to waste.</div> <div><strong>So how does it work?</strong></div> <div>When a personal stylist finds a unique piece a customer might love, they send it via SMS. The customer can respond with “Buy” or “Pass,” or share feedback and make specific requests.</div> <div>After we confirm your order by text, the items ship directly to the customer. No more endlessly searching online, filtering through e-commerce sites for hours, and re-entering payment information again and again.</div> <div>Our fulfillment center is based in New Jersey, and all of our customers are in the U.S.</div> <div>We’re looking for Personal Stylists from around the world to join our growing, globally distributed team working remotely (9:00 AM–5:00 PM PST).</div> <div>The ideal candidate has personal styling experience, is tech-savvy, has strong fashion instincts and brand awareness, and is passionate about helping women build exceptional personal style. We’re seeking someone who’s a positive self-starter, manages their time effectively, has a sharp eye for creating outfits, and is committed to environmental sustainability.</div> <div><strong>What you’ll do</strong></div> <ul> <li>Use our platform to personally style a list of customers assigned to you based on their preferences and needs</li> <li>Reach and maintain styling performance metrics to ensure customer satisfaction</li> <li>Stay current on fashion trends and fashion knowledge so you can serve as a trusted resource for customers</li> <li>Lead short closet consultation Zoom calls with customers to better understand their needs and preferences</li> <li>Think critically about our current customer styling process and identify ways to improve it based on daily interactions and customer feedback</li> <li>Build trusting relationships with customers so they feel great value from the service</li> </ul> <div><strong>Tools you’ll use</strong></div> <ul> <li>Our Styling Platform</li> <li>Slack</li> <li>Zoom</li> <li>Upwork</li> </ul> <div><strong>Requirements</strong></div> <ul> <li>Personal styling experience (or retail sales experience in women’s fashion)</li> <li>Excellent communication skills via both text and speech to engage customers and build rapport as their personal stylist—must be fully fluent in English</li> <li>Ability to style a wide range of customers by understanding body types, sizing, style preferences, customer geography, and age</li> <li>Strong product knowledge of designer brands</li> <li>Sales-oriented mindset: drive revenue and retention by listening to customer needs and delighting them with your styling recommendations</li> <li>Ability to learn new software and systems for communicating with customers</li> <li>Available to work 20–40 hours per week during scheduled hours to support customer needs</li> <li>Must have your own computer</li> </ul>
