About the position

Are you considering a career in automotive? At Premium Velocity Auto/ Jiffy Lube (PVA), no automotive experience is required! Transfer your customer service skills and retail sales knowledge to an industry that will really get you moving, we'll train you on the rest! We are now hiring Customer Service Advisors/Lube Technicians to work safely in various roles to meet the individual needs of the customer, ensuring that they are confident in the safety of their vehicle. PVA is seeking reliable individuals with a growth mentality, committed to customer satisfaction. The ability to build rapport and explain products effectively makes you the perfect candidate for this position! We do not require automotive experience, but customer service/sales experience are preferred. Qualified candidates can work well in a team setting, have great communication skills, and are efficient in fast-paced environments. A valid driver's license is strongly preferred as it ensures your career opportunities will not be limited but is not required. The Customer Service Advisor (CSA) for PVA (Jiffy Lube), helps build loyalty and increase sales by allowing our guests to make informed decisions about their automotive services. The CSA is a Lube Technician that is also responsible for creating a positive guest experience, which they can achieve by acting as the customer liaison and main point of contact throughout their visit!

Responsibilities

  • Greet and escort guests from their vehicles as you review their requests.
  • Inform guests of any promotions or products available with thorough understanding of the full range of Jiffy Lube products and services acquired through your training.
  • Provide impartial recommendations or options that are tailored specifically to guest's needs based on manufacturer recommendations and technicians' findings.
  • Communicate updates to the guest throughout the entire process as well as any special circumstances that impact overall satisfaction.
  • Perform preventative maintenance such as oil and filter change, refill fluid levels, and inspecting and replacing lights, wiper blades, brakes, and tires.
  • Promote customer loyalty by ensuring completion of quality workmanship, reviewing services completed with guest, confirming guest satisfaction, and encouraging return at recommended intervals.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Proven face-to-face customer service or sales experience.
  • Ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
  • Able to stand for an extended period.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crawl, and climb stairs.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working in an enclosed and/or semi-outdoor environment.
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
