Associate Attorney (Remote - Admitted in California )

Other Jobs To Apply

Our Florida-based boutique is among the leading ADA Title III defense practices in the country ( and we’re expanding to cover California cases. We’re hiring a remote associate attorney to manage a caseload of matters — mostly settlements, some litigation. The cases are nationwide, with a growing emphasis on California matters. Other related case types, or commercial litigation, may also be required. Experience with litigation is required, but prior experience with ADA cases is not.

What you’ll do:

• Independently manage a caseload from intake through resolution;

• Conduct settlement negotiations, draft settlement agreements, and finalize settlements;

• Administer settlement compliance — tracking deadlines, releases, and post-settlement obligations;

• Handle the occasional litigated matter (which may include ADA and other case types): motions, discovery, depositions, mediations;

• Help build a California practice alongside existing California of-counsel;

What we’re looking for:

• Two to four years of civil litigation experience;

• Demonstrated settlement negotiation and settlement-agreement drafting experience;

• Admission to the California and New York bars;

• Some level of experience litigating in California state courts;

• Strong writing, organization, and the ability to juggle dozens of active files without dropping balls;

• Remote work experience or a proven track record of independent case management;

Compensation: Competitive base salary plus bonus tied to caseload performance. Fully remote, flexible hours.
