THIS IS NOT A ROLE WITH FORCEBRANDS

Amazon Manager

Location: Remote-first, with preference for candidates based in the Eastern U.S. or Southeast

Travel: Periodic travel to the company’s Florida office

About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing nutrition and wellness brand backed by a global consumer health organization with an established portfolio across Europe and the U.S.

Following a successful international expansion, the brand recently launched in the U.S. across Amazon, TikTok Shop, and its direct-to-consumer platform. The company is now investing in dedicated channel expertise to support its next phase of growth while leveraging the infrastructure and resources of its broader organization.

The Role

The company is seeking an Amazon Manager to own the day-to-day operation, optimization, and growth of its U.S. Amazon business.

This person will serve as the dedicated operator for the brand within a broader Amazon ecosystem that includes internal resources, experienced consultants, and agency partners. You will ensure every component of the business is running effectively, including inventory, fulfillment, marketplace execution, promotions, content, and agency management.

This role is ideal for a hands-on Amazon operator who can act as the business owner for the storefront, maintain strong command of the details, and identify opportunities to improve channel performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the day-to-day management and performance of the brand’s U.S. Amazon business
  • Manage external Amazon agency partners and consultants, ensuring priorities are clear and execution remains on track
  • Work directly within Amazon platforms and maintain strong visibility into business performance
  • Manage merchandising, promotions, product launches, and overall marketplace execution
  • Monitor inventory and fulfillment across both merchant-fulfilled and Amazon-fulfilled models
  • Partner with operations teams to maintain appropriate inventory levels and timely product availability
  • Oversee product listings, reviews, content, and brand presentation across the marketplace
  • Coordinate creative needs for Amazon advertising, PDPs, and brand campaigns
  • Analyze sales, conversion, traffic, profitability, and other marketplace metrics to identify growth opportunities
  • Support alignment between Amazon and the company’s broader retail and omnichannel business
  • Identify and resolve operational or marketplace issues before they meaningfully impact performance
  • Collaborate with internal Amazon resources and specialists across the broader brand portfolio

What We’re Looking For

  • Direct experience managing Amazon for a consumer brand or through an agency supporting high-growth consumer businesses
  • Hands-on knowledge of Amazon marketplace tools and daily platform operations
  • Strong understanding of both 1P and 3P Amazon models and how they interact with broader retail and omnichannel strategies
  • Experience managing Amazon agencies, consultants, or external marketplace partners
  • Strong understanding of inventory, fulfillment, merchandising, and promotional planning
  • Ability to translate marketplace data and performance trends into clear actions
  • Experience operating within a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills across operations, marketing, creative, and commercial teams
  • Highly analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and solutions-oriented
  • Comfortable owning a channel while working within a larger organizational infrastructure

Experience within nutrition, supplements, wellness, or another high-growth consumer category is helpful but not required. The company is primarily seeking someone who understands how modern consumer brands operate and is comfortable moving quickly, working with data, and taking meaningful ownership of the business.

Why Join?

  • Take ownership of a rapidly developing Amazon business with established support already in place
  • Partner with experienced agencies, consultants, and internal specialists
  • Focus on operating and optimizing the channel rather than building the entire infrastructure from scratch
  • Gain exposure to significant Amazon expertise and resources across a global portfolio of consumer brands
  • Play a highly visible role in the continued U.S. expansion of an established international brand

Common Interview Questions And Answers

1. HOW DO YOU PLAN YOUR DAY?

This is what this question poses: When do you focus and start working seriously? What are the hours you work optimally? Are you a night owl? A morning bird? Remote teams can be made up of people working on different shifts and around the world, so you won't necessarily be stuck in the 9-5 schedule if it's not for you...

2. HOW DO YOU USE THE DIFFERENT COMMUNICATION TOOLS IN DIFFERENT SITUATIONS?

When you're working on a remote team, there's no way to chat in the hallway between meetings or catch up on the latest project during an office carpool. Therefore, virtual communication will be absolutely essential to get your work done...

3. WHAT IS "WORKING REMOTE" REALLY FOR YOU?

Many people want to work remotely because of the flexibility it allows. You can work anywhere and at any time of the day...

4. WHAT DO YOU NEED IN YOUR PHYSICAL WORKSPACE TO SUCCEED IN YOUR WORK?

With this question, companies are looking to see what equipment they may need to provide you with and to verify how aware you are of what remote working could mean for you physically and logistically...

5. HOW DO YOU PROCESS INFORMATION?

Several years ago, I was working in a team to plan a big event. My supervisor made us all work as a team before the big day. One of our activities has been to find out how each of us processes information...

6. HOW DO YOU MANAGE THE CALENDAR AND THE PROGRAM? WHICH APPLICATIONS / SYSTEM DO YOU USE?

Or you may receive even more specific questions, such as: What's on your calendar? Do you plan blocks of time to do certain types of work? Do you have an open calendar that everyone can see?...

7. HOW DO YOU ORGANIZE FILES, LINKS, AND TABS ON YOUR COMPUTER?

Just like your schedule, how you track files and other information is very important. After all, everything is digital!...

8. HOW TO PRIORITIZE WORK?

9. HOW DO YOU PREPARE FOR A MEETING AND PREPARE A MEETING? WHAT DO YOU SEE HAPPENING DURING THE MEETING?

Just as communication is essential when working remotely, so is organization. Because you won't have those opportunities in the elevator or a casual conversation in the lunchroom, you should take advantage of the little time you have in a video or phone conference...

10. HOW DO YOU USE TECHNOLOGY ON A DAILY BASIS, IN YOUR WORK AND FOR YOUR PLEASURE?

This is a great question because it shows your comfort level with technology, which is very important for a remote worker because you will be working with technology over time...
