Administration Assistant


Salary: £24,800 FTE (pro rata)

Part Time position
Permanent Contract
Location: Great Tey, Colchester
Monday – Friday (Office hours 9.00 am to 5 pm) Approx 22.5 Hrs Days/Time TBA

An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Colchester & North Essex Agency.


About the role:

This is a newly created role within the agency, reflecting our ambitious plans for growth and the expansion of our administrative team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Reception duties – greeting customers and dealing with enquiries in a professional manner
  • Assist in preparing documentation for insurance renewal reviews
  • Reconciling customer invoices and preparing documentation for dispatch, including postage
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies
  • Assisting with booking appointments and diary management
  • Assisting the Executive Assistant with ad hoc duties and projects assistance
About you:
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven office, secretarial or administrative experience essential
  • Knowledge or experience of insurance industry desirable but not required
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and a flexible, pro-active approach
  • GCSE’s or equivalent in Maths and English
